Village Accounting exists to relieve you of the hassles and time required to keep up with your end-to-end accounting needs: from Bookkeeping to cash-flow planning; payroll to income tax filing; and most everything in between - as much or as little support as you need.  

Our business model is also a bit different.  We will begin with an Initial Consultation (it's free!) to custom tailor your engagement with us to outline your needs and wants. 

Once set, our fees are the same each month*, and we bundle quarterly and year-end activities into that flat-fee pricing. This makes your budgeting  smoother, removes the stress of worrying about how much a needed Zoom call will cost, and you will always know we will work hard to be as efficient as possible. 

If the future brings a special project - no problem. We can work by the hour, or create a "mini-engagement" to create a cost and payment schedule that doesn't break the bank.

Personal, Family, and Business Tax Preparation

Nobody "likes" taxes! 

Village Accounting strives to take the stress out of this yearly civic duty. It's as easy as 1,2,3...4 And ALL activities can be conducted from the comfort of your own home.

Step 1 – Zoom Consultation: During this scheduled interview, we will discuss your tax situation including information about your sources of income, deductions, credits, and anything else that may affect your taxes. By the end of the meeting, you will have a quote for services.

Step 2 – Engagement & Portal Invitation: You will receive an Engagement letter that outlines the services, fees and payment schedule for your return. Once signed, you will receive instructions for accessing the secure portal where documents and information are shared throughout the preparation process.

Step 3 – Questionnaire and Document Sharing: Your Portal will contain a questionnaire so you can provide the additional information required to prepare your tax return and ensure that all the necessary information is included. The questionnaire also helps us provide a list of required documents to upload. Once ALL questions and supporting documents  been uploaded, preparation of your return(s) can begin.

Step 4 – Zoom Review, Sign & File (okay, and pay): Once your tax return is prepared, we will review each form and line together - so you (and your spouse) will know exactly what it contains and that you are getting the maximum refund/minimum payment (legally!) possible. After you approve and sign the return, we will process the final payment, and e-File on your behalf.
